The threshold is a place of promise, ambiguity and uncertainty. Anand Panchal resides in that space. Here he stages his almost theatrical tropes, where his protagonists confront life with raised heads and young, but strong shoulders. Keeping his colors clean and primary, his lines bold and firm and his characters the focus of his episodic narratives, human form is what Panchal extols and invests with a robust energy.
