Born in Orissa, Patnaik graduated with MFA in Painting from BHU, Varanasi where he was a Gold Medalist. Subsequently, he has received many awards and accolades from academies and organisations around the country. Patnaik’s work subtly focuses on the deep and natural relationship between the sexes. He has participated in multiple solo and group shows and his works are part of many private collections in India and abroad.
